When you think of celebrity sports fans, you might as well count Jack Nicholson as being on the LA Lakers, but not everyone will think of the female fans. There are plenty of us out there, including some of our favorite celebs. There is also a long list of different sports, like basketball, football, baseball, golf, tennis, and more.

We’ve gathered a list, in no particular order, of some of our favorite actresses, singers, and models who have been seen sitting courtside, cheering on their favorite teams. Celebrities like to sit courtside and take the time to catch up or even go on a date. A famous couple who we’ve all spotted at a game before is Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. A lot of them even take their kids out to enjoy the game.

Jennifer Lawrence Loves the Cardinals
Jennifer Lawrence is from Louisville and she still cheers on her hometown team. She has been seen cheering at the University of Louisville for the Cardinals at more than one basketball game. Like most fans, she enjoys munching on stadium treats like pizza. Not only is she a sports fan, but she isn’t too bad of an athlete herself.

Lawrence had to train intensely for some of her roles like Katniss Everdeen, the role she played in the Hunger Games series. When she was back in high school, Lawrence took part in cheerleading, softball, field hockey, and basketball. She even played on the boys’ team which her father coached.
Zooey Deschanel is a fan of the Giants
Zooey Deschanel is a quirky Grammy and Emmy award-winning actress who is known for her role as Jessica Day on New Girl and in a few movies like Yes Man, 500 Days of Summer, and Failure to Launch. Like a lot of other celebrities, she spends some of her free time watching baseball games and she even plays fantasy football.

Deschanel is a serious San Francisco Giants fan. She performed “God Bless America” in 2010 during three of the National League Championship Series against the Phillies. She was also present during the World Series Run that the Giants had back in 2012.
Eva Longoria Loves Her Hometown
Eva Longoria was raised in Texas and is still rooting for her home state. In 2004, Longoria met Tony Parker, who was the point guard at the time for the San Antonio Spurs, and they ended up getting married. They divorced in 2010, but her love for sports in her hometown didn’t diminish.

She is still a fan of the San Antonio basketball team, and Longoria herself isn’t too bad of an athlete either. She can be seen at the George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic in 2012 playing some golf, and can I just say, she isn’t half bad.

Lady Gaga is known for going over the top with her performances and when she is making an appearance. Her high energy doesn’t stop there, she is a huge fan of the New York Yankees. This probably has to do a bit with her being born in Manhattan, and you don’t usually steer away from your hometown.

Apparently, she is such a huge fan that a crazy rumor has been going around. They say that she was banned from the Yankee clubhouse after she invited herself in to greet the players only wearing underwear, fishnets, and an open Yankees jersey.
Courteney Cox Is a Lakers Girl
How could any of us forget Courteney Cox playing Monica on the TV show Friends? This iconic actress is still at it today, from her own show called Cougar Town to her role in the show Dirt. She might not get as much recognition at one of these games as Leonardo DiCaprio or Jack Nicholson, but Cox is a huge fan of the LA Lakers.

She used to frequent the games with her ex-husband, David Arquette, and they even got caught in a kiss by cameras at the game. Even though the two aren’t together anymore, you will still see Cox show up to games as she’s a true Lakers fan through and through.
Khloe Kardashian Has Dated A Baller
This Kardashian sister doesn’t need much of an introduction. We all know Khloe from Keeping Up with The Kardashians and she is the sister who loves to date athletes. She had an on-again-off-again relationship with Lamar Odom, who used to play for the Lakers. She then went out with Tristan Thompson, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The two have a baby together but after a cheating scandal, they decided to end things. Even though Lamar Odom doesn’t play for the Lakers anymore and they haven’t been together for a while, she is still very passionate when it comes to basketball and you can see her cheering on the Lakers from the sidelines.

The Sex and The City actress, Sarah Jessica Parker, married Matthew Broderick back in 1997, and they have three children together. The two are still going strong and have a shared love for baseball. However, the two do not see eye-to-eye when it comes to which teams they root for.

Broderick is a huge New York Mets fan while Parker is a dedicated fan of the New York Yankees. Back in 2015, they took their son James to one of the games. Of course, James had to choose a side to root for and sported a New York Mets T-shirt. It seems like he is taking after his father.

Jenna Fischer is well-known for her role as Pam in The Office. Not only is she a huge sports fan, but she has more than one favorite sport. When it comes to football season, she chooses to root for the Dallas Cowboys. Then when baseball season comes around, she stands with her favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals.

Jennifer Lopez is currently married to the former New York Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to hear that she is a fan of baseball. Not only is she a huge Yankees fan, but she is actually a co-owner of the Miami Dolphins.

Back in 2009, she and her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, bought a small percentage of the team. On top of all this, she more recently sang the anthem to kick off the FIFA World Cup. Her performance blew everyone away and she went on to perform the Super Bowl halftime show with Shakira.
Jessica Alba Loves the Golden State Warriors
Jessica Alba is a die-hard sports fan. A lot of the time you can see her sitting courtside at Golden State Warriors basketball games. She is also rumored to be a fan of the Oakland Raiders as well, so she isn’t only into basketball. You know that Alba is a die-hard fan because she was into the Warriors long before they even had Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson.

More recently, she went to Dwyane Wade’s last game before retirement with Gabrielle Union after they starred together LA’s Finest. This game was pretty huge and other celebrities like Kate Beckinsale, Will Farrell, and Denzel Washington showed up too.

Faith Hill is married to Tim McGraw. He is a serious football enthusiast and can even be called a die-hard fan. Hill even performed the opening theme to NBC’s Sunday Night Football for a few years in a row. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are die-hard Tennessee Titans fans, but she grew up in Mississippi.

Hill and her family were always routing for the New Orleans Saints, and she still has a soft spot for them. Jennifer Garner is, and always will be, a fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Her love for the team started when she was a child. However, ever since she married Ben Affleck, she has come to love the Red Sox, as he is from Boston. Of course, most people root for their hometowns.

Affleck is a huge fan of the Patriots, and Garner made sure it is known that she didn’t adopt his passion for the team. Garner and Affleck might be divorced now, but they still make sure to attend their children’s games and can be seen sitting on the sidelines rooting them on.

Alyssa Milano is a serious fan of baseball. Her main team is the LA Dodgers and she is a known season ticket holder. Milano runs her own sports blog and she even reported at Fenway Park during the ALDS game between the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Milano also has her own line of team apparel for the female fans out there called “Touch.”

There are a lot of female fans, and they ended up making her line available at a boutique store in Citi Field. Her line “Touch” was so popular that she has a related line with the Los Angeles Kings with the NHL and NFL’s Giants.
Ashley Judd Roots for The Wildcats
Not only is Ashley Judd known for her role in films like A Dog’s Way Home, Frida, High Crimes, and A Time to Kill. She is also well-known for attending the University of Kentucky basketball games. She frequently attends the college basketball games and sits in the student section. She goes crazy for the Wildcats, but recently she’s been noticed at the games for being caught up in the drama.

In 2018, a fan came up to her to take a selfie and ended up turning the conversation into something more political. Judd also had an issue with a Chick-fil-A ad promoting the game and a lot of the Kentucky fans took to Twitter to try and keep her away from the games.
Jessie James Decker Performed The National Anthem
Country stars seem to love sports and Jessie James Decker is no different. She took her love for the Denver Broncos to the next level and married one of the players. She and Eric Decker, a wide receiver at the time and now a New York Jet, got married in 2013 and now have three children together. You can see her with their first two children attending Eric’s games.

Decker has actually performed at a few Broncos games, representing her favorite football players and performing the national anthem. Since Eric Decker left the NFL, the two filmed a reality TV show about their lives called Eric and Jessie.
Carrie Underwood, The New Face of Sunday Night Football
Another country music artist married to an athlete is Carrie Underwood. Underwood married Mike Fisher, a former Nashville Predators team member, and frequented his games often. But Underwood is more of a football fan, more specifically, a Dallas Cowboys fan.

In an interview with Country Weekly, she said, “I grew up a 100 percent Cowboys fan. My room was blue and gray, and I had Cowboys pillows and posters of Troy Aikman on my wall- he’s an Oklahoma boy! So, they were my favorite.” Underwood has also gotten the privilege of throwing out the first pitch for the New York Yankees.
Rihanna Enjoys A Drink with The Game
We all know Rihanna, the award-winning singer and songwriter, who put out hits like “Rude Boy,” “Diamonds,” and “Only Girl.” Not only does Rihanna love sports, but she makes sure to go all out. For one game, she wore a Louis Vuitton bag shaped like a football and also has a white cricket uniform that she wore to a game once.

One thing that you won’t see the star without is a glass of wine or a pint of beer in her hand. Rihanna likes to get into the game as well and is known for heckling Kevin Durant during a game in 2017. He definitely noticed and was staring her down during the game.
Kate Upton Married Into It
You probably know Kate Upton as the model from the cover of Sports Illustrated or Vogue, or from her appearance in The Disaster Artist. She is also married to Justin Verlander, who was then a team member of the Detroit Tigers and now plays for the Houston Astros. So, of course, Upton goes to many games.

She was always a supporter of the New York Yankees but switched teams when she met her husband, and again when he changed teams. At one point, she mentioned, “My Boyfriend plays for the Tigers, I had to pick a side. And I felt it too when I walked in. The Yankees told me, ‘You’re not allowed to wear a Tigers hat. You’re not allowed to wear any Tigers gear.’ It’s like a bad breakup.”
Maria Menounos Fought With Jack Nicholson
Maria Menounos is a serious basketball fan. In an interview with People, she said, “I’m such a die-hard fan. I get violent when I watch Celtics games.” Being born and raised in Boston, she loves her hometown sports teams. Especially the New England Patriots.

She more recently was seen in a New York Giants bikini after losing a bet during the Super Bowl that she took on the Patriots. Menounos is known for being kicked out of a basketball game for fighting with Jack Nicholson, who is a Lakers fan. She is also a pretty good volleyball player and played at the AVP Huntington Beach Open.

Not only did Keira Knightley play a British footballer in Bend it like Beckham, but she is a real fan of the sport. She has always been a supporter of West Ham United F.C. She is such a die-hard fan that when she lived in Santa Monica, she would wake up at six in the morning just to watch their games.

When Knightley did Bend It Like Beckham, she and Parminder Nagra did their own soccer playing. The director put them into three months of serious training, and they did really well. They did both get injured multiple times, but that didn’t stop them from getting good enough to not need stunt doubles.
Demi Lovato Sang at The Super Bowl
Demi Lovato is a serious Dallas Cowboys fan. Lovato’s mother was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader herself, which is obviously why this is her team. Her mother wasn’t the only performer for the team, Demi also performed at the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game in 2008, sang the national anthem against the Seahawks in 2011 and again at the 2020 Super Bowl.

Back in 2010, when Demi Lovato was only 17 years old and Tweeted ten years before she performed in 2020 “One day, I’m gonna sing the national anthem at a super bowl. Onnnee dayyy….” She predicted her performance at the 2020 Super Bowl, and everyone loved her.
Selena Gomez Is True to Her Hometown
Selena Gomez was born and raised in Texas and her love of sports stems from there. You can see her at different San Antonia Spurs basketball games. A lot of the time she is spotted courtside with her black Spurs jersey on.

She appeared at the Royals’ Big Slick Celebrity Softball Game in 2015, she wore a Kansas City Royals jersey, but it could have just been she was just having fun. Gomez has been a fan of the Spurs since she was five years old, and their family used to take road trips to San Antonio just to watch the games. She remained a fan even after she moved over to Lakers’ territory.
Olivia Wilde Got It from Sudeikis
Olivia Wilde is known for her role in the TV show House. She didn’t get her love for sports while growing up, but her husband had something to do with it. Jason Sudeikis, from Saturday Night Live and The Hangover, is a fan of the University of Kansas Jayhawks.

Charlize Theron is an award-winning South African actress and producer who you probably recognize from the movie Bombshell. Since becoming a resident of LA, of course, she supports the Los Angeles Lakers. She’s another actress that you can see sitting courtside at a game. She has a non-profit called Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project and auctioned off tickets at an event.

She was reportedly asked if she’d join the bidders to the game, and she doubled the price of the tickets. Theron was on Conan’s late-night show and mentioned that she loved UFC, although she “doesn’t know what her love of sweaty, hot men bleeding all over each other and bashing each other in the face” says about her.
Paulina Gretzky, Like Father Like Daughter
Paulina Gretzky is the daughter of one of the greatest hockey players to lace up, and the love of sports was passed on to her. Wayne Gretzky’s daughter loves hockey, and she even has a tattoo of “99” located right below the belt. She has four siblings, and most of them have tried out at least one sport like hockey and baseball.

Shakira has been dating Gerard Pique since 2011. He is a center-back for FC Barcelona. I’m not sure if she was a fan of soccer before meeting him, but you can now see that she is a fan of FC Barcelona. She is one of the hottest celebrity fans to put on a team jersey and cheer.

In an interview with The Sun, she said, “I never knew I would be so proud to be a WAG. But I am one of them – and very happy about it. I have an undeniable relationship with football. I feel part of it. I never thought I’d end up dating a footballer, but it’s great.” Not only is she a fan of soccer, but she just performed at Super Bowl 2020. Her and JLo performed the halftime show, and they killed it.

Vanessa Hudgens is known for playing Gabriella, who fell in love with a basketball player in High School Musical. This former Disney star is still a fan of the game and the Los Angeles Lakers.
