Harrison Ford is now one of the highest paying film actors grossing $10 million worldwide. He is nearly 80 and is still astonishing his fans with influential roles. In real life, he is a very private person. It can be said that his childhood troubles made him bold enough. This handsome man had problems in childhood as he was bullied and picked at many times at school. He once said, “I was kind of short and geeky, I guess.”

He hinted at his braveness from one of the incidents he came across in his childhood. When he was a child, his father accidentally cut his finger off. The brave Harrison was least traumatized by the situation and instead helped his father carry the broken finger to the hospital for it to be sewed back on.
A Supportive Family with an Acting Background
Harrison has a good relationship with his parents. They supported him nevertheless in the career he chose. However, Harrison was influenced by the acting background of his parents. His father, Christopher Ford, was once an actor and later shifted his interest to an advertising executive.

Similarly, his mother, Dorothy Ford, was an actress. She used to provide her voice for the radio. Also, she attended many red-carpet events and took Harrison along. She died in the year 2007 at the age of 84. Also, Harrison took some of the business skills from his father.
He Lived a Humble Life with DIY Skills
Before Harrison made it big, he had already spent a part of his life living a humble life. He lived the fullest with a simple life. He spent his life in the town of Jackson Hole in Wyoming. He also once built a ranch house all by himself.

He had great carpentry skills and built the ranch from scratch, including the windows, cabinetry, etc. It wasn’t the only carpentry work he did. He later worked as a professional carpenter in LA while also giving auditions. He had to take up a part-time job to support his wife and two sons.
He Was a Late Bloomer
Not all children know and have a passion for acting from a very young age. Harrison was one of them. He discovered his love for acting quite late. In his words, he was a ‘late bloomer.’ Until he was in college, he had no idea what he wanted to do in life.

He went to Ripon College in Wisconsin, where he studied English and Philosophy. There he did some gigs on radio and sportscasting. He then decided to take on acting classes to get over the shyness. This was when he discovered he was rather good at it and liked it.
A Difficult Start for Harrison
It was difficult for Harrison to get started, to get even one acting job. He applied for a radio voice-over job when he moved to LA but didn’t get it. He then signed with the New Program Talent. This program helped him find small roles in films and television.

But Harrison was far from satisfied with it. It was then that he decided to take up carpentry as a profession. The breakthrough came when he was introduced to George Lucas, and things started to take shape.
His First Gig Was a Featured Role
There are always some people in life that will discourage you, and the same happened with Harrison. When he landed his first role, it was pretty minor and wasn’t a big break. The film’s name was Dead Heat on a Merry Go Round. He was even mentioned in the credits.

Moreover, he was criticized for his role. One film executive even told him to call it quits as he won’t ever become a good actor in the film industry. Well, everyone is glad Harrison wasn’t bothered by that comment.
The Bond Between Ford and Lucas
George Lucas and Harrison Ford are two big names in Hollywood. They both first met in the 1970s and started their careers around the same time. Both had a rough start, where Lucas had just directed his first film, which flopped. On the other hand, Ford was only granted small roles in the film.

They both made it big with each other’s help. Ford was granted an audition for Lucas’s film American Graffiti for the role of Bob Falfa. This is where the relationship between Ford and Lucas started blooming. There was no looking back then. Lucas later cast him in other big films like Indiana Jones and Star Wars.
Ford’s Improvisation Skills Were a Hit
A Star Wars fan or not, you will know the magic the dialogues had in the film, which also became the most memorable lines. In a scene where Solo (Ford) had to bid a final farewell to Princess Leia before Darth Vader froze Solo alive, she confesses her love to him.

The reply that followed by Solo was improvised and became one of the best comebacks ever. He said, “I know.” According to the script, he was supposed to say, “Just remember that because I’ll be back.” But he changed the lines thinking the lines didn’t match the character. Also, the comeback somewhat kept the audience hanging and intrigued if he would be back or not.
What Ford Thinks of Han Solo
Han Solo is one of the most well-known characters and the most beloved from the Star Wars franchise. In the first Star Wars film, Solo started as a lone wolf and had to go through a great deal to become a loved man, the Millennium Falcon Captain.

Ford had a different ending in mind than the Star Wars series. According to him, Solo should have been killed long before in the second series as it occurred in the original trilogy. But Lucas thought otherwise.
A Behind-the-Scenes Story
When you are filming a Hollywood blockbuster, the fun is endless, and so is the responsibility. However, not all days are the same, and sometimes the shooting schedule becomes too hectic. One day, both the lead characters, Carrie Fisher and Ford, were partying with the Rolling Stones while filming The Empire Strikes Back.

Things started to get out of hand when they stayed awake all night, drinking and partying. To avoid the terrible hangover and not miss the shoot the next day, they decided to stay awake and went straight to shoot the next day.
Ford And Lucas Never Let Money Get in the Way of Their Relationship
Ford and Lucas had a special relationship, which is difficult to find in the modern era, especially when huge amounts of money are involved. It is believed that the first three films were signed by Ford purely on a handshake basis without involving any money. This is the extent of trust between Ford and Lucas.

Ford made a whopping $6.5 million overnight from the first Star Wars film. Also, the original trilogy made nearly $1.8 million and added a million dollars of merchandise to the figure.
Ford Gave Some Meme-Worthy Replies
During an interview with Le Petit Journal, Ford had to say the first word that came to his mind when a particular photo was shown. The reporter showed Ford the photo of young Han Solo, to which the first word Ford could think of was, “Baby boy, baby.”

The reporter then showed him the photo of Darth Vader, and he replied, “Evil.” The replies were simple, but internet users knew how to make the best of them. The words were used to make thousands of memes that circulated the web for a while.
Remember Chewbacca?
Chewbacca is one of the most intriguing characters of the Star Wars series. A character that seems outwardly. The character is played by Peter Mayhew and was signed up for it due to his impressive 7-feet 2-inch height.

Ford and Mayhew had a great relationship on the set and are recognized for their friendship in Hollywood. They had a great bond, and Mayhew was also brought in for the next series, The Force Awakens, in 2015.
Ford Bid Goodbye to Mayhew With a Heavy Heart
Mayhew had to say goodbye a bit early as he died on April 30, 2019. The Chewbacca actor was 73 and died of a heart attack which supposedly happened due to his large body build. Remembering Mayhew, Ford said, “We were partners in film and friends in life for over 30 years, and I loved him.”

“He invested his soul in character and brought great pleasure to the Star Wars audience.” He also mentioned he is grateful that he could spend the last film with him in the Force Awakens.
Another Big Hit: Indiana Jones
Star Wars is an iconic film with no major lead character. Every character forms an integral part of the film making Han Solo an iconic character. Another early film that Ford played a big part in was Indiana Jones.

He had a starring role in the film as an archaeologist, becoming part of a franchise including three big films and one more released in 2008. The film was a hit, and Ford played an influential role that inspired many.
No Less Improvising in Indiana Jones
Ford was known for his improvising skills, and he did no less in one of the scenes of the Raiders of Lost Ark. In a scene, Indiana finds himself surrounded by a large number of people and being threatened by a man with a sword.

According to the script, the scene included a long action scene with Indiana fighting. However, Ford had something else in mind. He wanted to call it a day as he wasn’t feeling too good. He improvised the scene by shooting the man with his gun, ending the scene rather abruptly.
Indiana Jones and James Bond
Sounds weird? Not when you know the full story. The film Indiana Jones includes three big films in the franchise released within a decade. In the third installment, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the film introduced audiences to Indiana’s dad, Henry.

The role of Henry was played by Sean Connery, famous for his role as James Bond. Initially, Ford was given the idea of giving his father’s role to Jean as he was not much older than Ford himself. Jean is only 12 years older than him, which wasn’t old enough for Ford to consider him his father. However, the audience loved the pair.
Solo or Jones: Ford’s Favorite Roles
If you consider the fame any character brought to Ford, it’s gotta be Hans Solo. However, the character that received fame doesn’t necessarily mean it was as enjoyable to play.

Once, in an interview, he was asked who he would choose to play as Indiana Jones next. And he quickly replied, “Nobody will be Indiana jones. I am Indiana jones.” Ford looks like he can still carry the role.
When Ford Got Injured On the Set
Being an action hero isn’t an easy task, even when you have stunt doubles. Ford has been part of many action films, and there is always a chance of risk. Though injured, he did manage to get away with them.

When he was filming for the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1983, he herniated a spinal disc while riding an elephant. Again, when filming for the Force Awakens, his ankle was crushed by a door. He was immediately airlifted to the hospital for surgery. He bore it all. However, he did sue the studio company successfully.
Indiana Jones Isn’t Over Ford Yet
Do you know Walt Disney is planning for another Indiana Jones movie? This would be its fifth installment, 40 years after the last release of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. The name isn’t decided yet but is scheduled to be released in 2022.

Guess who is the archaeologist this time? It is suspected that Harrison Ford will still be playing the role of Indiana Jones at the age of 80. He is not ready to give it up yet, and why should he?
Did You Forget Blade Runner?
Though Star Wars and Indiana Jones are the two most talked-about films of Harrison’s, others are worthy of mentioning. Did you forget the popular science fiction film, Blade Runner, directed by Ridley Scott?

If you do not know yet, Ford played the lead role in the film as Rick Deckard. The film was set in Los Angeles in the year 2019. With this, he was known as a great sci-fi actor as well.
The Film Ford Didn’t Like To Be a Part Of
The film, though, received worldwide recognition. Harrison himself is not a fan, though. After the release of the film Blade Runner, Ford expressed his opinion about it, saying, “he didn’t like the film one way or the other.”

On asking why he hates being part of it, he said he somehow struggled to be emotionally connected to the character. He thought that the detective role he played wasn’t very much like a detective. Also, he hated the voice-over he had to do as a part of it. However, he still agreed to be part of the film in its sequel. How shocking!
The Blade Runner Sequel and its Success
The Blade Runner Ford was part of was released 30 years ago. With Blade Runner 2049, fans were worried about the sequel and if it could meet the original’s cult status. The sequel starred Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, and an appearance from Ford.

The film broke all records and was a great success. It also bagged many awards, including five Oscar nominations. It won awards in Best Visual effects and Best Cinematography.
Ford and Gosling Together
Ford and Gosling were a big part of Blade Runner’s promotions. Although Ford wasn’t a big part of the film, they gave several interviews for the press. The two had to answer multiple questions about the movie and their personal life.

Sometimes, media interviews can be tedious, but Gosling and Ford knew how to answer these questions better. The two had fun answering them, and their comic timing was impressive. A comedy film starring both of them would be a treat to the eyes.
Ford and His Love for Flying
Ford, along with acting and carpentry, is also into flying. In the 1960s, he was obsessed with it but somehow couldn’t get a pilot license then. In 2014, he became a big part of aviation as the chairman of the Young Eagles Program.

This program was part of the Experimental Aircraft Association and aimed at teaching young children about flying. He was also part of the Bob Hoover Academy, which was again dedicated to teaching kids how to fly.
Flying Gone Wrong
The risks of flying are immense, but that should not stop you from doing what you love to do. Ford had been officially flying since the 1990s and recorded up to 5000 miles in the air. But Ford had bad days like every other airman.

In 2015, he was flying as he usually does, but it ended in a disaster as the engines failed, and he had to do an emergency landing on a golf course. He sustained multiple injuries, including a broken pelvis.
A List of Injuries
The list of injuries Ford has sustained in his life is diverse. In one of his accidents, he had a bad scar on his face. This was during his early acting career in 1968. It was from a car accident and happened when he tried to put a seat belt on while driving at high speed.

He lost control while doing so and crashed into the telegraph pole. The accident caused him injuries under his chin and left a huge scar. Luckily it didn’t have a massive impact on his acting career.
He is a Great Rescuer
Don’t judge him by the above accidents and injuries. He owns many airplanes and a helicopter and has been a phenomenal airman overall. He has an excellent flying record and has also saved many lives doing so.

His helicopter, Bell 407, is also used for rescue operations. In one instance, it was used to rescue a hiker named Sarah George, who was found injured near her ranch. He once also helped save a boy who was lost in the woods.
A Real-Life Hero
Ford isn’t just limited to his heroism, to his films, or his flying, but has been immensely helpful as a good citizen. He helps if he comes across someone in need. In one instance, in 2017, he witnessed a car accident on a Californian highway.

Ford immediately came to the rescue and helped the driver get out of the car, and waited until he was sent to the hospital via ambulance.
Ford is Picky with his Roles
Ford has been around for more than 40 years now. However, he had some pretty explosive movies under his name. Ford is considered to be a bit picky when it comes to selecting movies.

There is a huge list of films that Ford turned down and eventually made it big on screen. These blockbuster films include Vanilla Sky, The Patriot, The Hunt for Red October, and The Perfect Storm.
Ford Also Turned Down Jurassic Park
After working in several Indiana Jones films, Ford seemed to be like the perfect role for Jurassic Park. The character of Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park was full of adventure, something Ford was accustomed to doing.

However, when the role was offered to him, he refused to do it, and therefore Sam Neill was taken up for the role. It was short notice for him, but he ended up doing a great job.
The List Doesn’t End Here
Ford turned down many other blockbuster films. Among them was another action romance film released in the 2000s called Proof of Life. Russell Crowe took the role and did everything the producers expected from him.

The reasons behind rejecting the films vary. In some movies, Ford found the character too simple. In others, he found them too violent. When he turned down the role in The Patriot, it was later given to Mel Gibson.
Was He a Lover Boy Back Then
Princess Leia and Han Solo were the most talked about part of the film, and fans were eager to know how their relationship was off-screen. In an interview in 2016, the fans were pleased when Fisher said that they both had a fling for three months even though Ford was married and had two children.

In a memoir released just a month before her death in 2016, Princess Diarist mentions in detail Fisher’s affair with Ford. It notes that the 3-month relationship was serious for Fisher. “Yes, I love him. I’ll always feel something for him,” she stated. Ford commented in an interview with GQ saying, “It was strange. For me.”
Ford’s Marital Status
In Hollywood, marrying more than twice is normal. Ford has been married three times in his life. He was first married to Mary Marquardt in 1979 and stayed in the marriage for 15 years. They both met in college and had two kids together.

His second marriage was with screenwriter Melissa Mathison, and they stayed together for 21 years (which is considered an eternity in Hollywood). They got married in 1983. Finally, in 2010 he married Calista Flockhart after dating for eight years and have been together since then.
The Divorce Battles
It wasn’t easy for Ford to part ways after his first marriage. His divorce from Melissa (his second wife) was troublesome for him. They never signed a prenuptial agreement.

Since they have been married for a long 21 years and had two children, the divorce procedure became a long legal battle. Finally, the divorce made Ford pay a whopping $83 million as a settlement along with royalties he received through films while they were together.
Maintaining His Final Marriage
Currently, Ford is married to Calista, but they are both not too open about it in public. Calista is more than 20 years younger than him. They both first met at the Golden Globe Awards in the year 2002 and started dating.

After dating for many years, they decided to get married in 2010 and have been married happily since then.
What Are the Kids Up To?
Being married three times, Ford has a total of five children. He had two sons with his first wife, Benjamin and William. Benjamin Ford is a restauranter and a chef, whereas William owns various businesses like a gym, theatre, and a clothing company.

With his second wife, Melissa, he had two children again, Malcolm and Georgia. Both are actors in Hollywood. He currently lives with his third wife along with their adopted son Liam.
The Secret Life of Pets 2
When he first moved to LA, he had to wait quite a long time before he landed with his first voice-over film. It was in the year 2019, just a few years back. The film was the Secret Life of Pets 2 by Universal Pictures.

Ford had to voice a sheepdog named Rooster. He worked alongside great voice-over artists like Dana Carvey, Kevin Hart, and Patton Oswalt. The film did quite well on the screen, collecting over $400 million with a budget of just $80 million.
Mr. President
Ford stays far away from politics, but he got a fair share of it when it comes to movie scenes involving politics. Ford has played the role of Mr. President to Vice President many times in different films.

He played the role of Jack Ryan (a Tom Clancy character) in two movies: Patriot Games (1992) and Clear and Present Danger (1994). He also played the role of President James Marshall in the movie Air Force One (1997).
Not All Films He Picked Were a Hit
There are many of the films that Ford should have turned down. In the 1990s and 2000s, he was a part of many films that never made it to the charts. These included Six Days Seven Nights, Firewall, Hollywood Homicide, K-19: The Widowmaker, and many others.

One of the worst films he ever made part of was Random Hearts, released in 1999. It has a drastically low 15% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The story was dull, and the acting of Ford made it no good either.
Ford’s Most Flop Film
The list of his flop films isn’t over yet. Ford’s worst picks continued in the 2000s as well. It was in the year 2013 when he was involved in the thriller movie called Paranoia. It is his most poorly rated film with just a 7% approval rating as per Rotten Tomatoes.

This film is a perfect example of a bad script that can’t be saved through a star-studded cast. It involved some of the best with big names like Liam Hemsworth and Gary Oldman and still was a box office flop. It only made $16 million and had a budget of more than $35 million.
The Movie That Inspired Ford to Buy a Home
There has been another film in Ford’s career that was fruitful. Firewall, released in the year 2006, was directed by Richard Loncraine. It was again not such a good film. However, the place where the film was shot was enough for Ford.

He immediately fell in love with the place. The location was in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ford ended up buying a waterfront home on the same island.
Ford’s Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame
Despite starring in so many blockbuster films, Ford never won an Oscar. He did, however, get his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003. This is an honor many young stars aspire to achieve.

He must have been thrilled to see his name on such a landmark, where several other Hollywood legends have left their mark. Ford’s star lies on 6801 Hollywood Blvd in front of Hollywood &Highland.
No Oscar But Still Number 1
Many diehard fans consider Ford one of the best classical actors globally, despite never having won an Academy Award. He has garnered a massive fanbase, even though he only has a few iconic roles to his name.

Even though he is known only as a few special characters in a few films, these are a few of Hollywood’s most beloved and iconic. Thanks to his long-spanning career, he took the Number 1 spot in Empire magazine’s The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time.
Ford’s Bump in Earnings After Star Wars
To a certain extent, Ford has been very well-paid almost throughout his career. The game changed, however, after the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The film took over $2 billion at the box office, and he became the highest-grossing actor in the world.

Samuel L Jackson later took the top spot with all his roles in Marvel’s Avengers franchise. It is, however, likely that things will change soon after the release of the new Indiana Jones film or a new Marvel film that will feature Samuel L Jackson.
Harrison can Afford Quite a Bit
Ford has come a long way from a man juggling carpentry and acting in LA. With multiple hit movies to his name, his net worth is now over 200 million dollars. That is not including his priceless fan base.

He reportedly spends a lot of it on cars and motorcycles and is a big aviation buff. Aircraft aren’t cheap, so it’s probably a good thing he’s worth as much as he is. He also supports several environmental organizations.
Environmental Work
Harrison Ford has supported several organizations involved with protecting the environment and endangered species over the years. He has also filmed documentaries about environmental issues.

Two creatures have been named after him, an honor granted to him as part of his passion for the cause. A newly discovered spider was named Calponia Harrisonfordi after him in 1993. He also lent his name to the ant Pheidole Harrisonfordi in 2002.
Why Harrison Ford Got Fake Front Teeth
Since he became an actor, Ford’s rugged looks and handsome face have wooed the ladies on and off-screen. His winning smile, however, isn’t all his own. After a dramatic accident early on in his career, he got a few front teeth put in.

Ford was on the set of a television show when the accident occurred. He reportedly fell over a prop gun, resulting in a few of his front teeth falling out. He was lucky that he was making big bucks and could afford excellent dental care. Who would’ve given him an audition if he couldn’t!
Harrison, a Big Name in Japan
It is common for Hollywood actors to feature in wacky advertisements in Japan, but Harrison Ford was doing it before it was cool. These weren’t ever shown outside Japan but made him quite popular in the country.

The Japanese film and television industry boom happened around the same time Ford rose to fame in the ‘70s and ‘80s. He featured in various commercials for many top brands. One of the most noteworthy, and possibly the most embarrassing, was a towel-clad appearance in a sauna for Kirin Lager.
Pierced Ear. Youthful expression or just FOMO?
People are often surprised when they see an older man with a pierced ear, like Harrison Ford with his left ear. He wears it nearly all the time when he’s not filming. The piercing is not something he has on because it’s an expression of his youth at 55.

It’s just a curious case of FOMO or the Fear of missing out. One day, at a group lunch, Ford realized that he was the only one in his friend group that did not have a piercing. He got one later that day because he did not want to feel left out.
His Controversial Friendship
One of Harrison Ford’s most controversial friendships is with director Roman Polanski, who was charged with drugging and raping a 13-year old girl in 1977. While it is pretty common for actors to develop friendships with directors, this one raised many eyebrows.

Polanski and Ford first met on Frantic, a 1988 mystery-thriller, and have been friends ever since. Polanski has been living outside the US to avoid charges for his crime. When he received an Oscar for Best Director in 2002, Ford accepted it on his behalf.
One of the world’s most beautiful people
Despite being considerably older at 79, Ford still retains his rugged charm and still has a huge following. But if you think he’s good-looking now, you should’ve seen him at his prime.

His name often appears in lists of the world’s “Sexiest” and “Best Looking,” including being one of People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World.”
In people magazine’s “Sexist Man Alive,” he topped the list in 1998. Like Brad Pitt, Leonard DiCaprio, and Antonio Banderas, several other stars gave him tough competition.
Same Name Harrison Ford
While taking a stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he got confused to see two stars named ‘Harrison Ford.’ There was one before our Harrison Ford, the actor we love and cherish from Star Wars.

Back in the day, another actor from the earlier silent film era was called Harrison Ford. He was quite well known and an excellent actor. Harrison was forced to add a fake middle initial “J” to his name to distinguish himself, but as time went on, he could drop it.
Ford Doesn’t Know If Han Shot First Or Greedo. He Doesn’t Care
Ford is notoriously private, so when he announced that he would be doing an Ask Me Anything (AMA) on Reddit, his fans lost it.

Fans generally asked Ford questions about himself, but one Redditor was disappointed when his question was answered rather bluntly. “Who shot first, Han or Greedo?” he asked, echoing what many other Star Wars fans have been dying to know. “I don’t know, and I don’t care,” was his curt reply.
Indiana Jones is a History Buff
Ford’s role in the Indiana Jones films led him to develop an interest in history and archaeology. He put his name behind trusts just like he does for aviation and the environment.

He is now a General Trustee on the Governing Board of the Archaeological Institute of America. Ford is known to use his star status to make the public more aware of an organization. One of their key goals is to prevent illegal looting and trading of archaeological objects.
LOTR Overlaps in Several Other Films
In the film industry, actors often cross paths many times at different points throughout their careers. And when the cast is as star-studded as that of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, you know some actors are going to be seen together again.

Ford has starred alongside four Lord of the Rings cast members in different films – with John Rhys-Davis (Gimli) in Raiders of the Lost Ark, with Sean Bean (Boromir) in Patriot Games, with Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) in Witness, and with Miranda Otto (Eowyn) in What Lies Beneath.
His Unconscious Signature Move
Diehard fans of Harrison Ford may have noticed his ‘signature move,’ where he points angrily at a character. He does this in nearly all of his movies.

When asked about it in an interview, he admitted that it is not intentional, and he does it unconsciously in nearly all his movies, regardless of the character he’s playing. Maybe this unconscious quirk is just his way of making a ‘point.’
Oldies But Goldies: Harrison And Liam
Ford is a very private person and does not often share details of his relationships with his fans. He has, however, been seen at many social events with actor Liam Neeson. When seen together, the two appear to be quite good buds.

After one of Ford’s planes crash-landed in 2015, Neeson even sent some public well-wishes to Ford. “He’s an amazing pilot… I’ve flown with him a couple of times, and he’s the real deal, so I’m pleased he is not seriously hurt,” Neeson commented during an interview.
Indiana Jones Likes A Good Drive
Despite being almost 80, Ford’s love for cars, speed, and power is still going. His character Indiana Jones is not alone in his passion for a good adventure. Ford often likes to get out on the open road or fly out into the sunset whenever he can.

Ford reportedly owns eight to nine motorbikes, four or five BMWs, a couple of Harleys, a couple of Hondas, and a Triumph (and a few) sports touring bikes, along with a Jaguar XK140 (1955).
Custom BMW rider Harrison Ford
One of Ford’s favorite things to do is to take his custom-made BMW motorcycles for a zoom across open roads. He loves fast vehicles. But when you live in a town like Los Angeles, it can be hard to keep your outings a secret.

Ford has been seen many times taking disguise himself to hide from the paparazzi. He has used a black bandana, unique sunglasses, and several other clothing items to hide his appearance when out riding. Though the trick doesn’t work very often, it adds to his style!
A Peek Under Han Solo’s Shirt
Ford has always had a pretty athletic build, even though he might not have the muscles of a bodybuilder. He was reportedly in his best shape during the first three Indiana Jones movies. This was probably because his character was required to go shirtless in several scenes.

Fans also got a sneak peek in other films, such as the sci-fi classic Blade Runner. Though he isn’t the most ripped guy in the business, we would not pass up a chance to what he’s got hiding under there!
Keeping in Shape
Throughout his career, Ford has consistently taken care of his physique. He is often seen on his way to the gym. A lot of the roles he plays, we imagine, require a lot of stamina, and he probably keeps up his fitness to do his job well.

Being an active pilot and motorbike rider probably also helps him stay in shape. Despite being just a year away from his 80s, he doesn’t seem to show any sign of slowing down.
