Julie McCullough Caused Some Trouble
Actress Julie McCullough played Julie Costello, Mike’s girlfriend, in the fourth season of Growing Pains. But while the season ended with Mike proposing to Julie, fans were not treated to a wedding in Season 5 because Julie was abruptly written off the show.

It has been said that the actress’ photos in Playboy bothered actor Kirk Cameron so much that he got her kicked off the series. Cameron, on the other hand, has denied this rumor and still claims that Mike and Julie were never supposed to get married in the first place. Hmm. Sounds fishy to us, but we guess we’ll take his word for it.
