Amber Valletta is connected to the Met Gala slightly more than some Hollywood celebrities because she has presented some of her own designs to the Gala over the years. However, it is this design of her 2004 appearance that really got people talking.

With the John Galliano skirt and the signature Maggie Norris Couture Corset, she resembled an aristocratic woman from the enlightenment period and was clearly very wonderfully dressed to look at. Not to mention her well-groomed hair was like the cherry on top.
