To err is human. But how many of us have actually seen a celebrity make a mistake? Not too often, right? While most stars appear to lead seemingly perfect lives, what we fail to realize is that they also have moments that make them just like the rest of us. And some of these moments happen right in the public eye, on the red carpet. That’s right,
Take a step back, relax, and get ready to get a sneak peek into your favorite celebrities’ most mortifying moments. After reading these, you might just pull them off their high horse. After all, we all have flaws, and these celebrities are human, just like the rest of us!
The young couple, Lil Xan and Noah Cyrus were extremely enthusiastic about showing their affection towards each other on the red carpet. However, perhaps their make-out sessions might have been better left back at home.
One cringe-worthy moment, however, takes the cake. There was one point when the Mexican rapper, Lil Xan, for reasons unknown to everyone but him, put two of his fingers down his throat. Awkward much?
The 2015 Grammy’s were an event to remember, ET interviewer Nancy O’Donnel’s remark to Taylor Swift. Commenting on Swift’s outfit for the night, the interviewer remarked, perhaps insensitively, that she would be walking away with “lots of men.”
Taylor Swift responded with a death-glare and commented that she wouldn’t go back home with lots of men. Instead, she was going to go back… to her cats!
Things took an awkward turn on the red carpet when Ryan Seacrest began interviewing Laura Linney and Jennifer Garner. It was annoying enough that Gary Busey kept interrupting the interview. Still, things got worse when Seacrest introduced Garner and Busey to each other, to which Busey responded by… kissing Garner’s neck.
Garner, however, was quick on her feet. The minute Seacrest posed her a question, she responded with, “Aren’t you going to ask me about getting kissed on the neck on the red carpet by this man? Um, that was nice.”
This happened way back in 2001, when popular singer-songwriter Björk showed up to the Academy Awards in a ‘swan dress,’ complete with the swan’s head wrapped around her neck.
What’s more, Björk also brought in six ostrich eggs (you read that right!) and kept dropping them strategically on the red carpet to complete her ensemble. Unfortunately, the bodyguards present at the event misread this act and kept picking her eggs up and giving them back to her!
Paparazzi can be daunting, especially with exes around. Model Miranda Kerr found herself in exactly such a situation when she found herself next to her ex-husband, The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, Orlando Bloom.
Fortunately for these two exes, they are experts at acting. They were able to pass off this meeting as a cordial encounter, but everybody around them could tell how awkward it actually was!
As the saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity, right? Wrong. Self-promotion, such as the one that was done by Macy Gray on the red-carpet might just be too cringe-y to be considered good publicity.
The singer-songwriter showed up to the MTA VMAs in an outfit that spelled, “My new album drops Sept 18, 2001” on the front and “Buy it” on the back. Talk about bold promotion!
Nothing can be more embarrassing than a rejected hug, and this is what Kesha faced at the David Lynch Foundation’s “A Night of Laughter and Song” when she approached Jerry Seinfeld for a hug. The sitcom actor politely refused, but Kesha asked once again for just a “little one,” which the actor declined once again.
When Seinfeld’s interviewer deigned to explain to him who he had just refused, he awkwardly responded with, “Okay, well, I wish her all the best.”
The Mother of Dragons faced an incredibly awkward moment on the red carpet when she was being interviewed by E! co-host Giuliana Rancic. Unfortunately, Rancic happened to spot actress Heidi Klum in the middle of the interview, whom she seemed more interested in. She, therefore, told Clarke that she would be “letting her go.”
Clarke, who did not hear Rancic, stayed put. Guiliana Rancic found herself awkwardly saying, “You can go” a second time to the Game of Thrones star. Rancic was polite, but… ouch!
At the 2018 Golden Globes awards, Debra Messing mentioned how E! does not pay her female and male co-hosts the same amount of money, not knowing that she was speaking to an E! co-host herself, Giuliana Rancic.
Of course, Messing was referring to the 2017 incident when popular E! co-host, Catt Sadler, gave in her resignation papers to E! upon finding out that her male equivalent was getting paid twice her salary.
What do you know, Giuliana Rancic makes another appearance on our list when she interviewed actress and writer Issa Rae at the 2018 Golden Globes and innocently asked her what she would call her memoir if she ever wrote one.
What she didn’t know, of course, was that Issa Rae is the proud author of a memoir already, which has appeared on the New York Times best-seller list as well. And to answer Rancic’s question, the 2015 memoir is called “The Misadventures of an Awkward Black Girl.”
A journalist at the 2014 Sag Awards made the unfortunate mistake to pose this particular question to Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik – “Being on the Big Bang Theory, how many people—not that you aren’t a genius—think that you can solve calculus at the drop of a hat?”
Of course, Bialik being the quick-witted neuroscientist that she is, cleverly responded with, “I was trained in calculus for several years. I’m a neuroscientist—you may not have known that?”
A reporter on the red-carpet asked Melanie Griffith if she had seen her daughter, Dakota Johnson’s career-defining movie, “The Fifty Shades of Grey.” Griffith responded that she hadn’t seen it, to which Johnson said hopefully, “maybe someday.” Griffith, however, declined to see it in the future as well.
Dakota finally burst out with, “Fine, you don’t have to see it!” right in the public eye. The inspiration for many memes, this little awkward moment, is not soon to be forgotten.
Some of those people who are not A-list actors on the red carpet find themselves going all out to make a name for themselves during big events, and this is exactly what stuntwoman Jessie Graff set out to do when she demonstrated an excellent karate kick in front of fans.
What’s the kicker? (pun intended). Well, Graff was wearing a full-fledged neon pink gown, and her fantastic stunt performance in a dress definitely shocked and surprised fans that night!
A big name such as George Clooney is bound to have hordes of screaming fans at his wake. Once, when Clooney was attempting to have his picture taken, so many fans were freaking out that Clooney decided to join them.
That’s right! He stood along with the crowd of people and began screaming along with them. Although truth be told, he looks more upset than we thought he would, cheering for himself!
Perhaps it was her 15-year hiatus from the Cannes Film Festival that caused Kate Moss to forget her red carpet etiquette, or maybe she was just hungry. This particular moment, however, when she attempted to take a bite out of her clutch, had everyone visibly confused.
This was how Kate Moss’s big debut in 2016 went down at her premiere for the movie “Loving.” Well, hungry or not, she definitely gave something for the reporters to talk about!
Naturally, fans continue to throw themselves at actor and heartthrob Hugh Grant wherever he goes. What wasn’t predictable, however, was the moment when a die-hard fan decided to cuff herself to the British actor.
Surprised as he was, Grant managed to keep his wits about him as he continued his interview for the next 10 minutes, all the while remaining cuffed. He was finally set free when some firefighters unleashed him.
High heels can be extremely attractive on the red carpet, but sometimes, they can also be the cause of doom. This proved to be the case for the “90210” star, Annalynne McCord, at the 2009 Teen Vogue Party.
Unfortunately, McCord found herself bested by her heels as she went tumbling down in front of cameras and reporters. However, she immediately jumped back up in good spirit and resumed smiling for the cameras.
This may perhaps be the supermodel’s most mortifying moment in her career. At the launch of her fragrance, True Reflections, back in 2012, the supermodel was attacked by a bag of flour thrown by an anonymous fan.
The fan ran away immediately, but the job was done – the “Keeping Up with The Kardashians” reality star was covered from head to toe in flour as she faced the cameras.
Emma Stone found herself the butt of a joke by Justin Timberlake as he photobombed her in her interview at the 2017 Oscars. Unknown to Stone, Timberlake sneaked up behind the “La La Land” actress and flashed his pearly white teeth to the cameras.
Stone soon caught on as she realized what was going on behind her. However, before she could catch Timberlake in the act, the singer had disappeared!
It is safe to say that most celebs that come on the red-carpet are eager to show off their outfits. But nobody can match the enthusiasm that David Oyelowo showed when he turned up to the 2015 Academy Awards in a dapper maroon suit that matched right down to his socks.
Oyelowo was so proud of his outfit that he made it a point to show the cameraman every piece of his clothing. He even performed some acrobatics by lifting his leg to give them a better view!
The two legendary comediennes, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, are known for their on-stage presence, and 2013 saw them making an attempt to climb (and we mean that literally) the stairs to the stage!
Fortunately, the rest of the world is aware of this duo’s tendency for occasional tom-foolery and couldn’t help bursting into laughter at this hilarious scene. Thank god for their sense of humor, or this act would have gotten awkward quickly!
2019, Virginie Efira had a potentially embarrassing red-carpet moment, which was thankfully averted thanks to the timely assistance she received from her real-life Prince Charming, Niels Schneider.
When the Belgian-French actress and TV Presenter noticed that her heel’s strap had come loose, she requested Schneider to tie it back for her. She elegantly leaned back, lifting her gown as her Prince Charming took care of things for her!
Alysia Reiner appeared in a gorgeous red dress for the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards, which was, unfortunately, a little too tight for her. She began to awkwardly shuffle in her skirt in an attempt to make it across the red carpet.
However, the “How to get away with murder” actress gratefully received the help of someone who was able to lift up the bottom of her gown while she made it through. Phew!
The 2000 Oscars were legendary for more than one reason, and Trey Parker and Matt Stone are one of them. The brilliant creators of the hit animated show “South Park” decided to show up to the awards in gowns, wigs, and sparkly flip-flops.
As it turns out, both of them were quite drunk at the awards. But this did not stop them from making an impression at the awards with their transparent green dress and pink satin dress!
The famous Czech model, Petra Nemcova, found herself at the Cannes Festival a few years ago in a stunning black gown, which proved to be too long for her. The beauty thus tripped and fell face-first to the floor.
However, her years of training as a model paid off, as she picked herself back up gracefully. Not only this, but she was able to laugh the incident off – and we all know laughing at yourself on the red-carpet takes some courage!
We all know about this particular incident that went down at the MTV VMAs in 2009. Taylor Swift, and young and innocent country singer on the verge of fame, had just received the Best Music Video of the Year award.
Unfortunately, Kanye West deigned it appropriate to interrupt her in the middle of her acceptance speech and went on to claim that it was his then-partner, Beyonce, who deserved this award. Talk about mortifying!
“The Wolf of Wall Street” stars Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie were called on stage to present an award at the 2014 Golden Globes. However, as they were about to speak, they realized that the words they were being shown on the teleprompter were utterly wrong!
Fortunately, Hill kept a cool head and pointed the problem out. Finally, they were brought a copy of the script to read from, and the day was saved.
Lawrence is quite infamous for her awkward celebrity moments, and this particular moment is just the cherry on top. Lawrence, who appeared in a brilliant pink gown and high heels to the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards, tripped over her gown.
Fortunately, a knight-in-shining-armor was nearby, who helped her unentangle her heels from her gown. Lawrence leaped up laughing and smiling, as always! She always takes her stumbles in stride.
This was another gown-related disaster, and Liang Jingke was bested by her exquisite green dress at the 2016 Venice Film Festival. The Chinese actress was unable to walk in her dress, which was too long and too tight, and found herself on the red carpet event floor.
Unable to pick herself back up, she had some attendees help her. As they scrambled to put the beauty back on her feet, everyone around pretended not to notice the awkwardness, but it was there!
Even Jessica Alba takes a fall once in a while, and the multitalented actress tripped over her own feet at the Teen Choice awards in 2006. Surprisingly, she was wearing comfy jeans and boots, so there was no cumbersome dress hindering this celebrity’s movements.
True to her name, however, Alba was able to laugh this off. Smiling, she turned towards the cameras once again as if nothing had happened. Way to hide your embarrassment, Jessica!
British TV presenter and Jools Holland faced an unfortunate hiccup in his red carpet appearance at the GQ Men of the Year awards in 2014. The red carpet was not glued to the ground well enough, and Holland tripped over the edge, falling flat on his back.
Being the beloved humorous presenter that he is, Holland leaped back up to his feet, roaring in laughter. What’s more, he even bowed to the cameraman who captured his fall!
Ukrainian journalist Vitalii Sediuk is famous for pranking the celebrities he writes about, and this is exactly what he did to Bradley Cooper. Cooper, when he was casually conversing with a couple of other stars at the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards, was surprised when Sediuk dropped to his knees and grabbed Cooper by the legs!
Sediuk was surprised in return when all he got from Cooper was laughter. As if this were a regular occurrence in his life, the actor continued talking to his pals.
Jennifer Lawrence makes it onto our list again. The beloved actress is known for her awkward antics, and this moment perhaps does not help her reputation as an elegant lady. Instead of going all around the row of chairs to the back one, the “Hunger Games” actress hitched up her gorgeous Dior dress and merely climbed over.
With a glass of wine in hand, Lawrence certainly proved that it could sometimes be exhausting to look and act gracefully – and we love her all the more for it.
Popular “Grease” actor John Travolta takes the prize for the most embarrassing moment on this list. For some reason, the actor thought it might be appropriate to stand behind fellow actress Scarlet Johansson, grab her waist and plant a kiss on her cheek.
Or maybe he tried to kiss her neck. Either way, Johansson wasn’t impressed. PDA on the red carpet can get awkward extremely fast, and Travolta should definitely have known better!
During the premiere of the hit movie “Vicky Christina Barcelona” in 2008, this famous Hollywood director found himself standing next to the star of the movie, Scarlet Johansson.
Now we all know Johansson is a beauty, but this does not excuse Woody Allen’s compromising looks, which the cameras happened to catch! Allen certainly needs to be careful in front of the cameras.
The stunning supermodel Karolina Kurkova graced the New York City Ballet Gala in 2012 with her presence. However, she appeared dressed in a gorgeous flowy red dress, which proved to be the cause of her downfall – almost!
It turns out that someone stepped on the long cape of her dress, causing her dress to almost choking her! Fortunately, the model’s reflexes proved quick enough to prevent her from stumbling to the ground.
The “Superbad” actor is known for his adorable and hilarious characters on-screen, but what you might not know is that Michael Cera is pretty much the same in real life as well. This was proven at the 2013 Sundance Festival when Cera lost his balance and fell to the carpet.
To make matters worse, he appeared to fall in slow-motion. Fortunately, his co-star Catalina Sandino soon came to his rescue, but the damage was done!
Known for his iconic role in the movie “The Dictator,” Sacha Baron Cohen decided to dress up as the character for the 2012 Oscars. Hilariously, Cohen also carried around an urn that claimed to be carrying the ashes of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il.
The disaster occurred when Cohen decided to pour the ashes on the red-carpet and accidentally got some on Ryan Seacrest’s suit. Having already interrupted Seacrest’s interview with Lady Gaga, Cohen did prove to be the last straw for Seacrest.
At the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards, the cast of the hit movie “Birdman” was called on stage to receive an award. As Naomi Watts moved towards the mic to present her acceptance speech, she missed a step and was nearly swept off her feet.
Fortunately, the actress managed to regain her balance, but not before the cameras managed to capture the hilarious reactions by her co-stars! Just look at their expressions!
This famous singer might not be complaining about his moment, for she certainly looked just like Marilyn Monroe! At the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, the singer showed up in a pretty pink dress with a pouf netted skirt, which might not have been the best decision for a windy day.
Grande struggled with the wind, which blew her skirt up almost entirely at one point. However, the singer managed to hold on before the wind completely exposed her.
Stunning supermodel Elsa Hosk had a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet at the Venice film festival. One of her gorgeous (not to mention, expensive) earrings fell to the ground. The Victoria Secret supermodel was wearing stilettos and a dress with a thigh-high slit, but she managed to bend down to get her earrings, looking as graceful as a swan.
Hosk put on her earring then and there and strutted along elegantly. What a refined beauty!
Brilliant actress Melissa Leo slipped up during her acceptance speech at the 2011 Oscars. “The Fighters” star accidentally dropped the F-word in the middle of her speech.
Kirk Douglas, who had presented Leo with the award, attempted to gloss over the situation as best as he could, in a gentlemanly manner, but to no avail. Everyone had caught the word, and the cameras were already going crazy! Leo looked suitably flustered in this situation.
Emma Stone is known for being one of the most down-to-earth actresses out there, and this moment must have been extremely embarrassing for the “La la land” star. Misreading the situation with her director, Damien Chazelle, Stone leaned in for a hug at the 2016 Oscars.
Chazelle, on the other, was going in for a kiss with his girlfriend. What resulted, instead, was an awkward three-way hug that Chazelle tried to laugh away. But Stone indeed came out of it looking mortified.
This might just go down as the rapper’s most cringe-worthy moment. During her “Bang Bang” performance at the MTV VMAs with Ariana Grande and Jessie J, Nicki Minaj’s worst nightmare came true. Her figure-hugging black dress tore right down the middle!
Minaj’s first instinct was to drop the microphone and cover herself up with her two hands. As you can see, she looks horrified at what happened at this live broadcast. Poor Nicki!
Emma Thompson is known not only for her brilliant acting career but also for her incredibly hilarious antics over the years. This moment is the result of one such antic when Thompson, at the 2017 premiere of “The Children Act” in London, ran over and almost tackled fellow actress Hayley Atwell.
Atwell, though shocked at first, was happy to see Thompson, who kept the hug going for several minutes, for the benefit of the cameras. But Atwell wasn’t complaining!
Famous popstar Camilla Cabello found herself at the wrong end of a wardrobe malfunction at the 2019 Grammys. Her yellow short-skirt got pulled up at the waist, exposing more of Camilla than people were prepared to see.
The singer had a horrified look on her face as she realized what had happened. The look, of course, was captured by the cameras. However, Camilla took a moment in stride as she posted the photo to her own Instagram account in good spirit.
Moments before Jennifer Garner read out the name on the envelope that announced the winner of Best Soundtrack at the 2006 Oscars, she slipped over her cream-colored gown and nearly lost her balance. She regained her balance quickly, but not before her incredibly hilarious expression was caught on camera!
This might just go down as one of her most embarrassing moments on stage, but she recovered quickly enough to do her part at the Oscars. Bravo, Jessica!
At the 2010 Las Vegas ShoWest Convention, Heigel was awarded “Star of the Year.” As she was giving her acceptance speech, something unfortunate happened. One of her splendid red gown straps broke off entirely and was about to fall off her chest.
Luckily, the actress caught the strap in time. She hid her embarrassment behind a hearty laugh and continued with the rest of her speech. What a real lady!
At the 2014 Met Gala, we saw famous superstar Rihanna dressed in a breath-taking white ensemble designed by Stella McCarty. However, in an ironic twist of fate, McCartney found that her shoe’s heel had gotten caught in Rihanna’s dress.
In an attempt to remove it, she lifted her heel, which ripped the dress apart. McCartney then proceeded to balance herself between Rihanna and Kate Bosworth, and further disaster was averted.
John Travolta completely invaded actress Idina Menzel’s personal space as he grabbed her face out of nowhere at the 2015 Oscars. To make matters worse, he completely butchered her name on stage.
Menzel took it as a sport and laughed it off. However, Travolta continued to hold on to her chin, making everyone else squirm uncomfortably in their seats!
Lindsey Lohan has infamously made the news for some very ungraceful moments of her life, which is undoubtedly one among them. The “Mean Girls” star tripped and fell to the ground at an Italian film festival and was unfortunately caught on camera.
Lohan had a hard time getting back up and was entirely embarrassed as she did so, for the cameras were going wild. It’s no wonder that she hates the paparazzi!
If you’ve ever walked in high heels, then you’ll know the pain that comes with them. Kristen Stewart is no stranger to heels, having walked around all night on the red carpet in her lovely pair of Louboutins.
Having decided she had had enough, Stewart took off her heels right in the middle of the red carpet and went barefoot for the rest of the evening. Walking barefoot is not as elegant as heels, but Stewart sure looked a lot more comfortable after that!
Emma Thompson never fails to bring a smile to one’s face, and the way she handled this moment is truly commendable! At the 2013 TLC Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Thompson took a major fall while trying to get her hand-print down into cement.
The actress, true to her name, sprawled over the floor for extra dramatic effect as she continued to laugh at herself harder than anyone else around her.
Dame Helen Mirren had a fall on the red-carpet stairs at 69 years of age. At a film festival in Berlin, this popular British actress tripped over her beautiful green dress, but she had an elegant fall.
Mirren seemed to take the fall in good spirit, even joking that her 39-dollar heels had been worth it, for she had worn them this long and had had only one fall!
Jon Hamm is one actor who will forever go down as the suave Don Draper on the hit show “Mad Men.” However, his moment at the 2015 Emmy Awards was far from sophisticated when he attempted to skip the steps to the stage and jump onto the stage.
This maneuver might have worked if Hamm was in sweats, but his expensive red carpet suit was just too tight for it. As a result, he stumbled onto the stage, much to the shock of everyone around him.
Jennifer Lawrence is perhaps the only celebrity to feature thrice on this list, but this moment just had to be mentioned. When Jennifer Lawrence walked up the steps to accept her award for Best Actress, she tripped over her beautiful white gown.
Lawrence decided to own the moment when she responded to the audience, who gave her a standing ovation with, “It’s ok, I know you’re only standing because you feel bad that I fell!”
Vitalii Sediuk, known for his famous pranks on stars, pulled off yet another tasteless gag on the red-carpet, and this time, his victim was America Ferrera. At the movie’s premiere, “How to train your dragon,” Sediuk attempted to get some under-the-skirt shots of Ferrara.
The voice actress was justifiably angry, but she was soon rescued from the situation by some security guards who removed Sediuk from the scene.
The Met Gala is known for being the most defining fashion event of the year, and the “Nashville” actress, Hayden Panettiere, showed up to the one in 2014 in an incredible Tom Ford ball gown, with an extremely pouffy skirt.
The skirt proved too much for this actress, as she tripped upon its many layers while walking up the stairs to the museum. However, Panettiere was able to handle the situation with grace and even joked about it to the cameramen later.
This might just be the most embarrassing moment in Heidi Klum’s life, and you’ll soon see why. Klum hosted the 2008 Emmy Awards with Tom Bergerson. The two had surprisingly rehearsed a skit and enacted it on stage. Things were going well until Klum pretended that she had fainted (as a part of the skit) and fell to the ground.
At this point, she had been counting on Bergerson to break her fall, but his arms did not make it in time. Klum thus fell hard onto the floor and even sustained some bruises. Yikes!
Yes, that’s right. Jennifer Lawrence makes it onto our list yet again, and this time, it’s for a more painful reason. During the premiere of her movie, “Catching Fire” in London, the actress found that her toes were being squished by her co-star, who had stepped on them without realizing his mistake.
Lawrence, who had been wearing stilettos at the time, must have suffered quite a bit, for she pulled a face that is quite unimaginable for a celebrity on the red carpet. Oh, the agony!
Popular French actress Marrion Cotillard is known for her grace and poise during red carpet events. But the actress found herself short of an earring at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Noticing the big dangling piece of jewelry on the ground, Cotillard bent down to pick it up.
Cotillard’s outfit for the night was a white jumpsuit, which was gorgeous, of course, but not made for acrobatics. The actress lost her balance and had to hold on to one of her attendees for balance.
Famous comedienne Amy Schumer is known for her hilarious sense of humor and pranks. This time, she decided to play one on the celebrity couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, at the 2015 Met Gala. In an attempt to get a reaction from them, Schumer sprawled onto the floor in front of them, but they could hardly care less.
The couple merely stepped over Schumer, leaving her awkwardly on the floor in front of all the cameras. Maybe next time, Amy!
Social interactions can be awkward, and not even celebrities can escape the occasional awkward encounter. Popular Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon was involved in one such incident when she shared a moment with fellow actress Felicity Jones.
The two talented actresses, meaning to shake hands, somehow missed the mark and began to shake wrists instead. They still seemed to be pretty happy to be meeting each other, so no harm, no foul!
Leslie Mann and Cameron Diaz are best buds and share everything, including this unforgettable moment that happened during the premiere of their 2014 movie, “The Other Woman.”
Mann seemed to be in a wild mood that night and decided to grab her co-star’s butt right in front of the cameras. But her gal-pal Cameron Diaz genuinely did not seem to mind.
Christopher Waltz made a name for himself when he starred in the brilliant movie “Inglorious Basterds” by Quentin Tarantino. However, he seemed to want to publicize himself further by walking with a limp at 2018 red-carpet.
The limp was odd enough to have people question whether it was real or not primarily because Waltz decided to give a death-stare to the cameras that caught his limp in full view!
At the 2014 Bambi Media Awards in Germany, Princess Mary walked up gracefully to the stage to receive her award for her incredible work in charity. All was going well until the Crown Princess of Denmark tripped over her feet and nearly dropped her Bambi to the ground.
The Princess managed to catch herself just in time and was able to stay on her feet. But the cameras around her did not fail to capture this embarrassing moment forever!
Popular plus-sized model Ashley Graham looked beautiful in her all-black ensemble at the 2017 TIME 100 Gala. Just as she was about to cross the red carpet, she accidentally tripped over her own dress, which was long enough to trail down to her stilettos.
While she did not fall face-first to the ground, like some of the others did on our list, she did seem to have twisted her ankle painfully. Ouch!
Angeline Jolie possesses a breath-taking body, but what she did at the 2012 Academy Awards might cause some people to cringe. Wearing a brilliant black dress with a thigh-high slit, Jolie decided to show off her legs through the slit.
People were quick to notice that this pose looked extremely unnatural and awkward. As a result, in an attempt at parody, Angelina Jolie’s exposed leg got its own Twitter account in the same year.
This particular moment has everyone confused, including the brilliant actor, Jason Segal. On his way across the red carpet at the Oscars, Segal was strangely interrupted by the cleaning staff, who began to clean the carpet around Segal’s feet.
Segal was visibly confused, and rightly so. His priceless expression was caught on camera, and it is clear that he has no clue as to what was going on.
After his brilliant performance as Freddie Mercury, it wouldn’t stop raining accolades on Rami Malek for quite some time. His highest honor came with the Oscars when he won the award for Best Actor in 2019. However, he must have been too excited for his win, for he completely forgot to watch where he was going.
As a result, Malek missed not one, not two, but most of the steps leading to the stage and fell hard onto the floor. As people rushed to the actor’s aid, Malek reassured everyone that he was okay.
Tre Cool, the drummer of the famous American rock band, Green Day, had one of his most embarrassing moments in front of the cameras at the 2019 Europe Music Awards. Cool stepped out of the car and immediately stumbled to the ground.
True to his name, Cool brushed aside all help and got back on his feet quickly. While he pretended that all was okay, the cameras would never leave him alone for a moment like this! His fall will now live on forever in photo form.
Beautiful Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo had an unfortunate accident with her magnificent beige-colored dress at the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. The model’s dress slipped completely off her chest right in front of the cameras.
Luckily, her gallant husband, Adam Levine, noticed right in time to put up his hand and block his wife’s chest from view. Prinsloo was extremely grateful to Levine for having saved the day!
Popular actress Jennifer Garner has had her fair share of awkward red-carpet moments, and this moment might just be the cherry on top. Garner showed up to the 2013 Oscars looking drop-dead gorgeous in a stunning wine-colored dress.
But the dress was too tight for the actress, who suddenly lost her balance and fell to the floor. The actress put her hands out quickly and pulled herself back to her feet. Well done, Jennifer!
The model and actress Cara Delevigne experienced a few excruciating moments at the 2014 GQ Men of the Year awards when she spilled wine all down the front of a famous fashion designer’s suit. Not only this, but she also lost her balance and went down on the floor!
In an attempt to balance herself, Delevigne grabbed her companion’s clothes, only to pull him down along with her. Entangled with each other, the two fell like a pair of dominos. Delevigne, however, leaped up and resumed her race towards the drinks!
Having played the iconic character of Sabrina, the teenage witch, Melissa Joan Hart has found herself in front of cameras since the 90s. However, she apparently got her make-up wrong during the premiere of the famous movie, “Frozen.”
From the looks of it, Hart’s make-up artist had forgotten to blend her face-powder in, leaving the actress with a cakey look in the spotlight.
Known for being the symbol of rebellion in the women’s beauty standards department, Rybakova turned up in a splendid red dress to the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. However, an attendee happened to slip and step on her dress, ripping it entirely from her waist down to her toe.
Highly embarrassed of himself, the attendee stayed behind to help the model cover herself up. He also gallantly tried to block all the cameras, but he’s only one man in the face of a thousand lenses!
The Twilight star Kristen Stewart received a Golden Popcorn award for Best Female Performance at the 2009 MTV Music Awards. While she was proud of her achievement, the actress failed to hold onto her award, which slipped out of her hands and fell to the floor.
The award shattered into pieces, leaving Stewart with only half the prize. Oh well, at least Stewart now has a memorable story to tell!
The 2008 MTV Latin America Music Awards was a truly unforgettable one for many reasons. One of the reasons was that Katy Perry jumped into a giant cake at the end of one of her performances. When she got out of the cake, she predictably slipped all over the stage and fell flat on her back.
While her band members found this hilarious, the stage looked quite disgusting. The cleaning staff would have had their hands full at the end of the show!
Newspapers around the world had only one story to report after the 2015 Met Gala, and that was of Jason Derulo diving off the stairs of the museum, almost as if on purpose. The photo went viral in no time.
However, it turns out that it was not Derulo in the photo after all. It was actually one of his attendees, who, despite the assistance of the ushers at the event, took quite a fall!
