We’re so used to seeing our favorite female athletes in their sportswear that it might seem strange seeing them in something else. Watching these female basketballers, sprinters, soccer players, tennis players, wrestlers, and gymnasts in sports attire seems so normal that seeing them in fancier clothes is different.
But beyond their outstanding performances and trophies, they also attend red carpet events such as movie premieres, award ceremonies, and other similar occasions. Let’s take a peek at some of their Hollywood appearances that blew us away because seeing them all glammed up leaves us speechless!
Alex Morgan – Soccer Player
Alex Morgan, a member of the US National Women’s Soccer League, became a household name during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Morgan led her team with six goals, making her the top scorer. During the World Cup, she contributed to the United States, winning their fourth title.

Ashley Wagner – Figure Skating
If you’re a fan of figure skating, then you definitely know who Ashley Wagner is. She has won several international events and championships in figure skating, including a bronze medal at Sochi 2014 where she represented the US team. And then let’s not forget the 2016 World silver medal.
But we’re so used to seeing Ashley in her skating outfits that she made our jaws drop in 2015. Ashley was asked to be a presenter at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards and was stunning! She looked gorgeous in a pink crop top and a brightly colored skirt.
Becky Lynch – Pro Wrestler
If you’re a WWE fan, then you don’t need an introduction to who Becky Lynch is. She has held the title of the Raw Women’s Champion for the longest time, an impressive feat that’s hard to beat. Lynch began her wrestling career in Ireland in 2002.
Ten years later, she signed a contract with the WWE to become one of the company’s divas. Lynch, along with some WWE stars, was spotted at the ACM Awards, and she shone brightly like a diamond! She was seen wearing a two-piece outfit that outshone the country stars in attendance!
Maria Sharapova – Tennis Player
Maria Sharapova is a world-class tennis player. She has been ranked as the world’s number-one female player by the WTA five times! Super! She made Russia proud when she became the first and only Russian female tennis player to win all four Grand Slams!
And as if that weren’t enough, she’s also an Olympic medalist. Sharapova has been in the spotlight for over 15 years and is regularly seen with Hollywood celebrities. She attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2019 and looked stunning in a metallic, ruffled dress with Stuart Weitzman heels.
Anastasia Yankova – MMA Fighter
Anastasia Yankova’s childhood fascination with Xena: Warrior Princess is the reason she became a highly skilled mixed martial artist. She eventually mastered the skill during her teens and went on to compete in the Bellator MMA flyweight division. Soon after, Nike offered Yankova a sponsorship arrangement.

Caroline Wozniacki is undoubtedly one of the best tennis stars ever. She made headlines when she became the first Scandinavian player to be ranked in the No. 1 spot in women’s singles. She also won 30 WTA singles titles before calling it a day after the 2020 Australian Open.
During her time as one of the most famous tennis players, Wozniacki was seen at a lot of high-profile events. At the 2016 Met Gala, she nailed one look in particular. She completed the image with her lovely blonde curls and a Prabal Gurung dress in all its splendor.
Jennie Finch – Softball Player
Jennie Finch is arguably the greatest softball player of all time, and she was rightly named the most famous player in history by Time magazine. Thanks to Finch’s efforts, the US national softball team won the gold and silver at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.

Candace Parker – Basketball Player
Candace Parker shares her last name with talented NBA player Anthony Parker. She is his little sister, and she is equally as talented! She enjoyed great success with the WNBA team Los Angeles Sparks, winning two gold medals at the Olympics. But basketball isn’t the only thing she’s good at.
Parker has been seen at a number of NBA Award ceremonies, but one in particular stands out: the 2017 ceremony. Parker wore a classic, black jumpsuit with a matching choker as she walked the red carpet. She completed her outfit with a pair of silky, strappy heels.
Barbara Blank – Professional Wrestler
Kelly Kelly is a WWE superstar who is well-known among fans. Her real name is Barbara Blank. She clinched the WWE Divas Championship in 2011 and kept it for four months until deciding to retire in 2012. She nonetheless showed up for Raw Reunion.

Nastia Liukin is one of the most decorated gymnasts in American history, having won five medals. It happened at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing where she won five medals in a row. She also took home three silver medals and one bronze medal. Liukin never shied away from the limelight.
She kept herself in fantastic form even after retirement. She looks stunning in all her red carpet appearances, but the one at the 2018 ESPY Awards blew everyone away. Liukin was seen in a lovely little dress with a décolleté neckline, and the flowers were the icing on the cake!

We can’t get enough of tennis stars. Ever heard of the talented Polish tennis player Urszula Radwańska? Of course, you have. She is also the younger sister of her tennis sibling, Agnieszka Radwanska. She demonstrated her tennis prowess by winning the Wimbledon girls’ singles in 2007.

She won both singles and doubles competitions. Watson’s style has a distinct flair to it. She enjoys wearing mini dresses and has been seen in them with just the perfect amount of flair. In 2016, she wore a black-and-white gown to the Wimbledon Champions dinner, keeping things classy.

Unlike some of the big tennis names we’ve mentioned such as Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki, Camila Giorgi isn’t a household name. But she is still well-known among tennis fans. The Italian tennis player reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 Wimbledon, her biggest success in the game.
